Imre Vallyon
It is difficult to talk about an author who fits none of the usual categories. Imre Vallyon might best be described as a spiritual savant. Like all savants, Imre was born with an extraordinary gift—unlike most of us, he did not completely forget what came before, a rare phenomenon known esoterically as Continuity of Consciousness. As a young child in wartime Budapest, Hungary, he was known to spontaneously chant in “strange tongues”, a capacity that has since revealed itself as an innate knowledge of the ancient sacred languages. Throughout his childhood he recalls intense inner training out of the body, in the “inner worlds”, while his formal education ended when he left school at age fourteen. An only child of Catholic parents, the following year he fled Hungary alone as a refugee and was sent to New Zealand. There he gravitated to esoteric and occult groups of all kinds and by age twenty was speaking at the Theosophical Society.
Imre recalls being told at the time that his vision of uniting the world religions under a single cosmology, a single all-encompassing understanding, was impossible—it couldn’t be done. Imre’s response was that it had to be possible because he had already done it—within his own consciousness, of course.
Since then, Imre has made good on his promise. At age forty he left his managerial job at the New Zealand Post Office and stepped off into the unknown, devoting himself completely to communicating his spiritual message. What followed was an outpouring of spiritual, esoteric and occult knowledge spanning four decades, all from some inexhaustible inner source, leaving us more than 4,000 live recordings and some 20,000 pages of handwritten manuscripts, all perfectly formed—no editing and not a single word crossed out.
Yet Imre would say that mental understanding alone is useless if it does not become our experience. To have a sunset described to us is not the same as laying eyes on the sunset. Thus his work is intensely practical, and intensely devotional, for knowledge without the Heart is arid, while devotion without knowledge is blind.
A close reading of Imre will reveal his core motivation to be universal Compassion for our struggling, suffering human family. Above all, permeating all of his work is the sense of the sacred. In the words of esoteric author David Allen Hulse, “Imre Vallyon loves God, and the love of God is in everything he writes.”
Imre Vallyon is Founder and Spiritual Head of the Foundation for Higher Learning, an international Esoteric School along the lines of the Mystery Schools of ancient times.

This twenty-first century sees our global civilization living a dichotomy; while our knowledge and control of physical matter increases exponentially, we still don’t know who we are, where we came from, or where we are going – if anywhere at all. Beyond the reach of our physical senses, we do not know the things that are. And, without knowledge of the Inner Law governing the Universe and the circumstances of our lives, we are powerless to respond to it.
Meanwhile, ongoing global upheavals represent a fundamental transformation of our human civilization as regressive forces and ancient divisions reach their culmination and give way to the inevitable march towards human progress and enlightenment.
We offer the inspired works of Imre Vallyon with the conviction that this eminently positive message of unity, love, hope and spiritual transcendence is the perfect antidote for the chaos, confusion and despair so prevalent in our world today.
